My Dragon

He is my drought-ending thunderstorm,
my saviour and my love.

His rain is music to my heart,
it keeps the soil that I live on
free and clear of weeds.

His thunder calms my heartbeat,
and drums upon my ears.

It sings me tender lullabies,
and lets me dream without fear.

As thunder and lightning
are intertwined,
so are we,
fierce but free.

He ends my drought
to let me live and love.

I am his stormy weather
to end the drought he had.

He is my fearsome dragon,
to save me from the knight.

He lets me ride upon his shoulders,
and guides me with his wings.

He brings the thunder with him,
and always brings the rain.
